What did Buddha preached!

Personal choice not Government Act

"There are lot of areas which are personal but Government & legal agencies are forced to enter. Domestic violence, harassment at work place, dowry deaths, etc.. This issue of choosing or knowing gender is also one such. Choice of Parent is OK but its affect over the society in large is very very large and hard and Government is forced to do it."

But I have heard many instances of educated and rich people misusing this test to find out the gender of the child and go for abortions. People with power and money can do things calmly without any issues. Pay to a private hospital and everything will done without much noise. What law must do is to enforce this act very seriously."
